Stranger at Shore
Can anyone tell me the name of?
a famous American artist who painted very detailed illustrations of American life during the 1930/40s. I just can't remember his name at the moment and I want to check his work out on the internet. His illustrations/paintings are sentimental and almost photographic in quality. He painted pictures of family life, kids visiting a doctor,mothers fathers, aunts, uncles, portraits of everyday things and his portraits of various American presidents are great. His name just escapes me at the moment. Thanks
